Some may know by now, but the Polynesian resort(Poly) is getting a major makeover. Poly is one of the big three resorts, sitting right on seven seas lagoon near Magic Kingdom.
The inside is tropical lover's paradise, themed with everything you may see on the Polynesian coastline.
Well, back in 2016, Disney released a new movie called Moana. Moana, if you don't know, follows a story of a young princess. She is Polynesian. So, that only means that Disney is rethemeing Poly to reflect the movie Moana and make it more Disney inclusive.
I always saw Poly, Grand Floridian (Grand), and Contemporary (the big three) as Disney resorts, but not. You get a break from Disney being "thrown in your face". But now that Poly is getting rethemed, it is not like that anymore. I wonder if Grand and Contemporary are not far behind on this change.
Poly is also receiving some renovations on their monorail station...

These changes should be made soon. I know people are ready to begin staying here again since it is a fan favorite.
What do you think of the changes to Poly? Were they needed? I like them but I think other resorts could've been renovated/touched up first before this one...
What're your thoughts?
Stay Magical, friends.
